Back Ground for Great Lakes Outdoor Production Co. LLC

Great Lakes Outdoor Production Company, LLC (Great Lakes) has developed a product oriented television program like no other in our industry. The strong development of outdoor channels has moved the hunting and fishing industry to its highest revenues yet. The current trend  in television are the  reality type shows such as “Dirty Jobs”, “How Its Made” and “Made in America”, which is the foundation for Great Lakes my new production show. While most television shows in the hunting and fishing industry promote the host and showcase his or her hunting adventures, Great Lakes program will present outdoor products from factory to field. Hence the shows name “Factory to Field”. The program will feature products for the outdoorsmen from manufacture to their field applications. Our pilot show, details the design and manufacture of   “Shadow Hunter Blinds” from start to finished product. Paul Ranft the owner of Great Lakes Production will travel throughout the United States  sharing the products manufactured from factory to the great outdoors.

Factory to Field will air on the Sportsman channel which is on Comcast Cable reaching over seven million viewers. Great Lakes has  top of the line cameras equipped with High Definition capability, along with state of the art editing and software for production of the program to ensure an uncompromised level of production. Great Lakes innovative concept will provide a major benefit to sponsors that other programs don’t provide:  Great Lakes will charge the same amount that is charged to a sponsor for a 30 second ad but we will give the sponsor a 22 minute show dedicated solely to their product.

 Great Lakes is lead by videographer and hunter, Paul Ranft. Paul has hunted and fished all his life, guiding and teaching others about the outdoors. His love of the outdoors has taken him all over the world.  Paul has co-produced most of the shows he has filmed, and produced and appeared in many commercials. Paul has also appeared on shows such as Scent-Loks Wildlife Point Blank, Scent-Loks Bucks, Bulls and Bears, and Keith Warrens Outdoor Show. Paul is also a pro-staffer for several large companies such as Scent-Lok, BowTech and Wildlife Reasearch Center just to name a few. Paul also has developed one of the largest outfitting businesses in the state of Iowa, Timber Ridge Outfitters. Having harvested over 30 record book Whitetails, Paul has truly distinguished himself from the crowd.

 Great Lakes is excited about the opportunities that lay ahead to educate viewers and to help them gain an additional appreciation for not only the outdoors, but for the products we all use that allow us to enjoy our time there.
