Timber Ridge Outfitters is owned/operated by Paul Ranft.

Paul is a professional taxidermist and cameraman for The Outdoors Channel (some of the programming shown on that network is shot right here at Timber Ridge).

Besides being the location of many programs on The Outdoors Channel, other famous videos have been shot on this property as well, such as "Bill Jordan's Realtree", product promos, and many others.

Timber Ridge operates on over 8,000 Acres of Timber, creek bottoms, and field edges in Iowa, Nebraska and Ohio. We have a strict management rule in which no deer under 130 class will be taken. We hunt mostly timber, but also do well in those creek bottoms and field edges. 

We're pleased to announce that Great Lakes Outdoor Production Company, LLC has just recently been formed.  Factory to Field will begin airing television shows on the Sportsman Channel coming up in 2009.  Our pilot show, details the design and manufacture of "Shadow Hunter Blinds" from start to finished product.  Paul Ranft the owner of Great Lakes Production will travel throughout the United States sharing the products manufactured from factory to the great outdoors.  This will also include hunts filmed right here on Timber Ridge.
